  • $150 for a 50-minute session.

    $225 for a 75-minute session.

At this time, I am not required to charge GST, so there is no GST added to the session fee. This may change in the future.

I also accept Crime Victim Assistance Program funding with no additional fees and direct bill to them.

I reserve a portion of my availability for reduced rate counselling for those facing financial barriers. Please speak to me about my current availability of reduced rate spots.

  • Many extended health benefit plans cover services provided by Registered Clinical Counsellors. Please check your benefits to confirm whether my services are covered. Your benefits may explicitly say Registered Clinical Counsellors are covered or may say counsellors who are part of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. If you have any questions regarding whether I may be covered or not, we may discuss it further during a 15-minute consultation.

Please note that I do not provide third party billing to extended health benefit plans. This means you will need to pay for your session and then submit to your benefit plan for reimbursement.

  • I require 48 hours' notice to change or cancel an appointment. If you change or cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours' notice but more than 24 hours, you will be charged 50% of the session fee. You will be charged the full session fee if you miss, change, or cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice. This fee is due before your next appointment. I may choose to make exceptions for extenuating circumstances.

  • Before our first session, I will send you consent forms and an intake form to complete before we meet. You can answer the questions on the intake form to your comfort level. When we meet, we will review the key points of the consent forms and you can ask any questions you may have about them, myself, or the counselling process. Our first session intends to start to get to know one another and find out what brought you to counselling and what you hope to achieve in our work together.

It can be nerve-wracking meeting a new person to share your struggles with. I want you to know that you are in the driver’s seat and can share what you are comfortable sharing including telling me you are not ready to share certain parts of your story yet.
